Very beautiful some
medieval foreshortenings with traces of the old village that can still be
found in some aristocratic buildings, surviving the intense earthquakes that
hit Parghelia, as many other places of the vibonese, in the years 1783 and
of 1905.
Parghelia was almost razed to the ground. Its new image was
completed in 1926. Special is the rock-cliff named “La Pizzuta” above the
coastal line point of Zambrone, beautiful the hills Florio Felosi.
Enchanting the 1700 ‘s church of S.Maria of Portosalvo, where paintings of
Neapolitan school are preserved and others of Salimene’s school, a valuable
altar and a splendid crossbow.
