At the tyrrenian border
with the province of Reggio Calabria, it has ancient origins. In panoramic

Gagini. Beautiful are also the stoned fountains of which we signal that of "Donn'Orazio"
and "the monks fountain". In the territory, on the St. Faustina ’s hills was
discovered an archaic necropolis, Roman ruins are found in the Timpa area.
Beatiful and interesting, Nicotera, to be lived even and most of all the
summer.
Of recent construction, Nicotera Marina is 4 kms from Nicotera
Centre. In enchanting position, first stop of the beautiful rocks of Capo
Vaticano, has many bathing structures . The clean sea, the coast with gardens, the hills
of uncontaminated Mediterranean vegetation, make of Nicotera a very
important resort.
